Funeral Suits - Tree of Life
Info: Irish band Funeral Suits yesterday released their brand new music video for their latest track, 'Tree Of Life' (recently reviewed here, here!). The clip is a beautifully shot portrayal of the 7 deadly sins within the context of current global financial issues. Definitely brings to mind the Panama Papers fiasco!
Funeral Suits have a huge Youtube following with their last video clocking up more than 13 million streams for 'All Those Friendly People'. Jochen Schmalbach - best known for his work with Rammstein, helped record the track, while the production and mix work has been done by the father-and-son team of Ken and Jolyon Thomas; Ken is best known for his work with Sigur Ros and M83, while Jolyon has recently enjoyed success with Slaves.
Possibly one of the best music videos I've seen in quite some time, concept, dramatics, and of course music, it creates another landmark sign-post in the Funeral Suits story.
