Single: Fí - Éalú

Fí Éalú

Fí - Éalú

Info: , is a 22 year old electro-pop artist/singer-songwriter from the musical town of Mullingar, and has just released her debut single, 'Éalú', on the 29th of September.

Prior to this release she was gigging acoustic material vastly last year throughout Ireland, playing Electric Picnic and Vantastival last year and venues on the Dublin circuit such as Whelans, The Twisted Pepper, Bruxelles and many more, supporting the likes of Aine Cahill and playing alongside acts like The Academic.

Citing influences ranging from Halsey, Lapsley, Lorde, Banks, Dua Lipa and The Weeknd, it's clear listening to this debut single from Fí that she was and is certain of the style and electro-tinged pop sound which she had envisioned. From it's opening dark tones and crystal clear vocal it snaps quickly into dance and minimalist house tempos, similar in my own book to a mix between Sam Sparro and a remix of a Florence & The Machine track. It's wholesome and more importantly easy to enjoy electro-pop, the kind that should draw a considerable level of attention, if not just yet, almost certainly by the time she's ready to drop her second single.
