Info: Another collection of the best tracks from Ireland and around the globe is here in Issue 5 of our Playlist. Opening with the excellent 'Queens' from French electronic duo, Her, we also have the debut single from Cork's The Grey Merchant, 'Spotless (The Protecting Veil)', which was reviewed earlier today. From Wales we have Griff Lynch's new single, 'Hir Oes Dy Wen' ('Long Live Your Smile), our Irish contingent is completed by the Funeral Suits' track 'Slow Motion', trio whenyoung and their highly enjoyable grunge-rock single 'Actor', and finally Changing Gears' melodious 'The Fever'.
The first act to feature on two Playlists is the massively talented Swedish solo artist Many Voices Speak and her warm lo-fi single 'Staying'. San Francisco-based from Alabama comes Known To Collapse and their latest release, 'What Is Said', with a really cool and haunting but mellow single, 'Cleaning the Elephant' coming courtesy of Sydney's CDAD, with last but not least, Oxford duo Vienna Ditto's sultry jazz-vocal number 'Busted Flush, FFO of Portishead and Tarantino!
