Info: Cork four-piece Blaming Hannah have just released their debut single, 'I'm Alive', consisting of Fionn Tobin (vox / guitar), Liam Griffin (guitar), Cúán Tobin (bass), and Hugh Whelan (drums), the Kinsale alternative rock act support Dublin's The Stoles this coming Friday, 18th of November, in Whelan's. There's much to enjoy here, it's a swaggering opening foray onto the Irish music scene from Blaming Hannah, from it's initial indie rock leanings the track makes it's way into a face-melting classic rock guitar solo at the two-minute mark. Humorous lyrics and a strutting rhythm coupled with effectively shrill vocals as required, ensure that they are a more than interesting proposition that will be well worth keeping close tabs on from here on.
