Info: Irish artists ELLYD & The DC Experiment release their 1st singles of 2017, and both are coincidentally titled 'Lucky'! They decided to take this unique opportunity and celebrate their single launches together with a double-headliner in the wonderful surroundings of the MVP bar in Harold's Cross, Dublin, this Saturday, 29th of April.

The DC Experiment - Lucky
ELLYD (Elaine Doyle) has been a stalwart on the Irish music scene under the guise of various music projects for some time before deciding to undertake a solo venture and recorded her debut EP 'Rise' in 2016, debuting her new material in Berlin, followed by a string of gigs in Ireland culminating in a launch gig in The Workmans Club.
The EP has been highly acclaimed for its consistently strong songs, blending Blondie-style vocals with a modern pop feel. 'Rise' reached number 8 in the iTunes charts and has been played on various national and local radio stations.
ELLYD started 2017 recording new material and has just released her brand new single called 'Lucky'.

THE DC EXPERIMENT
The DC Experiment release their first song of 2017, the electronically-tinged 'Lucky', following on from the chilled out singles 'Wings of Dust' and 'Freewill' in 2016. Starting life as an acoustic reggae style song, 'Lucky' soon found itself as a regular live favourite and begged to be recorded. The experimenters stumbled upon electronic producer Derek Maher, upped the tempo to 160bpm and 'Lucky' began a new life.
