RUTH - Off My Mind
Info: The latest single from Dublin-based Kerry pop-songstress RUTH, 'Off My Mind', premiered on Nialler9 the other day, and had it's radio airplay debut over on BBC Introducing a few days previous to that. On the new track RUTH switches from her normal modus operandi of genial uplifting moods and hooks to an everso slightly darker space more in line with contemporary Scandic electro and dream-pop. The production on 'Off My Mind' is also noticeably sharper and polished, and whilst not the be all and end all, it could well be a catalyst for building a wider audience.
