Info: MNÁSOME Live will see three up and coming acts, all featuring women musicians, perform at The Workman’s Club, Dublin on the 13th of September. Doors are at 8pm and acts performing on the night are ELKAE, Baba and Dreaming of Jupiter.

Founded just over 12 months ago, MNÁSOME has been doing fantastic work at sharing the music of Irish female artists and also those from further afield with their regular live shows. 

This is complimented by a great blog at https://mnasome.com/ and a general online presence which is very well run and designed, and to be admired. 

Dreaming of Jupiter - 'Let Me Down'

ELKAE is the moniker of songwriter and musician Laura Keane. Having previously made a name for herself on the Irish music scene as a singer-songwriter, Keane has revamped her sound to form a unique take on electronic soul. After a busy summer, playing venues across Dublin and performances at festivals including Electric Picnic, ELKAE is set to release fresh new music this autumn.

Dublin based singer and songwriter, Baba performs enchanting dark soul. With her powerful vocals, onstage energy and extravagant costumes, Baba creates an alluring live show that’s impossible to turn away from. Baba joins the MNÁSOME LIVE line up on the back of appearances at Dublin Quays Festival, Castlepalooza and Electric Picnic. Her latest single 'I, Defy' is "pro-woman, pro-choice, pro-equality and pro-doing what the hell you feel like as long as you aren’t hurting anybody."

R n’ B, ambi-groove outfit, Dreaming of Jupiter create an ambient, textured sound with a trip-hop influence that fills the room. The band have had a busy few months, bringing their sound to stages across the country, from Body & Soul, to the inaugural We’ve Only Just Begun festival in Whelans and Electric Picnic. Dreaming of Jupiter are set to release an EP in the coming months.
