Single: ADMISSIoN - Call and Rescue

ADMISSIoN Call and Rescue

ADMISSIoN, 'Call and Resucue'

Info: Up and coming Dublin based band ADMISSIoN are launching their debut single 'Call and Rescue' on September 10th, followed by a headline show at 'Opium Rooms’ on Wexford Street, on Saturday September 19th. Originally from Derry, Liverpool, Sao Paulo and Sheffield, the 19th also marks a year to the day since the band formed.

'Call and Rescue' was recorded with Mick Heffernan (The Script, Morrissey, Ryan Tedder, Gavin Friday) in Sun Studios and will be launched by its accompanying video; the soaring footage for which was shot along the Wild Atlantic Way on Donegal’s coast and in The Nerve Centre, Derry, by 'LittleFilms’  and ‘SomewhereTo_NI’.

With a visually spectacular opening to their new video, ADMISSIoN lay into an early to mid-90's alternative rock jam on debut single 'Call and Rescue' which flits between The Stone Roses' 'She Bangs the Drums' in it's opening bars, a Foo Fighters sounding middle-point and there's even time for a sharp guitar solo that would have The Edge nodding in agreement, is that Bono I see gazing out of portholes across the bay? There's still time for them to throw in a psychedelic curve-ball into the mix in the final third before 'Call and Rescue' wraps up. ADMISSIoN appear and sound like a tight unit and it's difficult not seeing them building on the foundations of their current fan base with a sound that undoubtedly will sit equally comfortably live as it is recorded.
