Info: Ontario four-piece Bass Lions have released a remix of their track 'Be Your Man' (Giant Eyeball Version) from their self-titled album which came out at the end of 2014."Be Your Man (Remix - Giant Eyeball Version)" delves into the hyper-realistic. We explore the idea of perspective in our new video - the latest in a series of releases. The extreme close-up moves past clarity and into the absurd. "Be Your Man" has been rebuilt from the stripped vocal track of the original version into a mantra, with the stark lyrics and production of a modern love song. We worked with Thomas Van der Zaag on the video and remix. Van der Zaag produced our 2014 S/T album and also contributed the album's cover art.
'Be Your Man' has a very soothing mellow vibe to it with nice faint vocal effects, think Terence Trent D'arby fronting Massive Attack. The track also uses intricate rhythmical timings on both drum beats and bass, a trademark of the band which litters the tracks on their album, a varied recording well worth checking out here http://basslions.bandcamp.com/.
