Music of Wales: Single - ESTRONS - Drop

Info: In the first part of Remy's Music & Film's musical merry go round and exchange with Welsh music blog, Music Blog Wales, I've been having a look through some great tunes over at Aled's groovy site and for May I'm kicking off with this tasty piece of noise rock from Cardiff duo ESTRONS, their latest single, 'Drop'.

ESTRONS are comprised of Rhodri Daniel and Taliesyn Kallstrom, 'Drop' is the follow up to their equally impressive single from last year, 'Make A Man' (below). There's no messing around here with the pair firing off a manic drum solo which is quickly joined by a grinding guitar progression. Kallstrom's vocals bobbing somewhere between Yeah Yeah Yeah's Karen O and Alison Goldfrapp, the power behind the track is incessant and the brief pause after the two-minute mark is followed up almost immediately once again with the preceding chaos, this is a band I would definitely love to see live and tearing up a stage, top stuff.
