Info: 'Sealed Off' is the forth coming single release from London /Cork trio Carpool Conversation. Released on the 8/08/16 on the artists own label Walk Records. The track is inspired and peeved by mobile phone usage at gigs, Sealed off reflects the disconnect some music fans experience by seeing mobiles thrust into their line of sight. Musically 'Sealed Off' fuses groove, psych-rock and Saharan desert blues.
The finest purveyors of hypnotic psych-rock straddling the Irish Sea you're likely to come across, Carpool Conversation have released another highly entertaining and most agreeable single in 'Sealed Off'. It's opening bars reminiscent of something from White Denim's chaotic 2008 debut LP Workout Holiday, we are quickly swept off into a ska-doused three minutes of classico-contemporary psychedelia with snappy and short guitar solos and rhythm, all complimented by chilled out vocal harmonies, quality stuff from a band in the zone.
